We read magazines about them. We watch award shows just to see what designer they end up wearing. Obsessing over celebrities is a habit young Americans cannot break.
But it’s all smoke and mirrors right? I mean…these women don’t wake up every morning looking fabulous. (Well, some do – but let’s just pretend they don’t). They have teams of people working on them day and night while promoting a product/movie/book. This is their job! So, let’s take a few tips from the experts and learn from their celebrity make up secrets.
Celebrity Make Up Secret #1: Fake Eye Lashes
Yes, my lovelies. Fake eye lashes are a MUST do on and off the red carpet. You can either buy kits that cover the entire eye or opt for individual lashes and place where needed. Are you in the market for Megan Fox’s sexy look? Then apply 3 or 4 single fake lashes to the corner of your eyes. The glue that comes with the kit washes off with hot water. These lashes will not last for days. Instead, think about using them for special occasions like weddings, parties, and girls’ night out.
Celebrity Make Up Secret #2: Contoured Cheekbones
Angelina Jolie and Kiera Knightley are the QUEENS of high cheekbone definition. I mean, what a different a little bronzer in the right place can make!
Purchase an angle blush brush and a bronzer that works with your complexion. Dab a little of your brush’s head into the powder and begin apply from the ear down. Stop right around where your iris is. Don’t go down to your nose – it’s only a small area that gets touched up when contouring cheeks. Then blend.
If you want to add a little more red back into your face, consider applying a small amount of blush to the apples of your cheek.
Celebrity Make Up Secret #3: Glimmer And Glow
Celebrities like Kate Hudson are also known to add a little white eyeliner to the inside point of their eyes. This celebrity makeup trick can make your eyes look bigger. Think white is too bold? Then opt for a nude version instead.
